The journey has begun
Hello lovelies,
I've been working so hard on our new space (getting organized, donating decades worth of collected unnecessaries, restocking inventory, and our biggest news A STOREFRONT! Opening in October...) that I have lost track of keeping all of our wonderful customers informed. I have tried to live in the present moment, but this is a lot of present moment happenings. Since April 1st, no joke, we have been transitioning to a whole new way of doing things. Don't worry, our oils are still of the same quality and go through the same rigorous testing that Marge expects. We haven't changed much there. Our stock has been hit or miss on many oils due to ... ahem, tariffs... but we are doing our best to keep up. Honestly, I'd rather wait for the cost to be within reason and go without than stock an oil that would be too expensive for anyone to purchase. I do not like to see things go to waste, and I fear that is exactly what would happen. We have to be very strategic during these times. Hopefully, we will see some changes soon, but for small businesses it is very difficult to maintain. Anyhoo, we are grateful for all of you.
With all of that being said, I have been racking my brain of ways to "market", yuck I cringe at that word, but someone has to do it. The part of business that I dread. I'd almost rather do the bookkeeping. Don't get me wrong. There is a place for "marketing" (man, that's hard to spit out) and I only struggle because I see how it is done nowadays. Long story short, I want to pledge that I will do everything in my powers when possible to avoid the use of AI. I do not want to use manipulation and monitoring of human existence to sell a product. Instead, I want to show you how beautifully essential oils can benefit you in all aspects of life. I would like to just present to you the natural wonders of what our planet offers. I have been searching for my own voice in this ever-growing, everchanging world of aromatherapy. It has been arduous, but I am starting to see that it's a journey that all of my own mentors had to start at some point. We aren't born with this knowledge. It is passed down through research and experience. It can sometimes be intimidating, but I'm here to say that you can do it! So please join me as I courageously peak from behind Marge's guiding hand to venture into this realm of vulnerability.
I will be posting more frequently on here with news and professional growth. I know many still enjoy social media, and at times I do to, so I will continue to make an occasional post and news of sales on there as well.
